The difference between the two is the 9-pin Deutsch connector they are compatible with; one is for green 9-pin Deutsch connectors (which have a slightly larger pin size) and the other is for the standard 9-pin Deutsch connector. So you wouldn't be able to use either on your truck, you would need to look at your 2007 Volvo 670 VN to see what color the 9-pin connector is; this is typically found under the dash. Yes, you can indeed use the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT to combine the tail lights on the semi. We actually recommend this product quite frequently for this purpose. To install the actual RV 7-way use install kit # ETBC7 which will include everything to install the 7-way and a brake controller. For a brake controller I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 since it is their most user-friendly and durable controller.

Start by making sure the ground connection is secure. Assuming it is, I would check the power on the brake controller with a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. I'm guessing it lights up but you can still make sure it is getting enough power by testing the black wire running to it.
Once that is done, check for power on the blue brake output wire exiting the controller while using the manual override. If there is no power here it is likely an internal issue. I would contact Hayes to see... view full answer...
I don't believe a 2016 Volvo VNL780 has electric brake wiring since they are setup for the air brakes of a semi truck trailer but the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100 can still be used as long as it has a 12 volt electrical system. You'd just need to hardwire the controller to the truck using it's included universal wiring harness.

The Lippert Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade part # LC1565401 won't really require frequent adjustments for most applications like a camping trailer. Once you find the sweet spot for the trailer you won't be adjusting that much aside from a few psi to maintain or if you adjust psi for empty/loaded towing. While we do carry a Pollak Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47425 which will adapt from a 7-pin on your semi to a 7-blade it will not work properly since the brake lights are separate from turn signals on your 7-pin. Instead you will need to create your own adapter using the following components.
